Overseer, Kamerunga State Nursery, North Queensland; an assiduous collector of Australian plants. In May 1893 he went to New Guinea at the request of the Queensland Government to collect samples of sugar-canes for trial in Australia.
COLLECTIONS. During his New Guinea trip he made general, not extensive, botanical collections; they are incorporated in Herb. Brisbane.
